Burns first appeared on TV in 1995 on the Spanish American Teen sitcom Out of the Blue, where she was Peg. Burns started her TV career in 1995 when she joined the cast of the Spanish-American teenage sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). She later played a role in Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action show. Burns left Baywatch due to her first pregnancies.
